OUR FOUNDATION
Meet Samra Kidwai
"Empathy is the catalyst of Healing"
Hi! I am Samra Kidwai, an RCI-licensed Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Petals Therapy Centre. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. I work with children, teenagers, and mothers, combining evidence-based psychological practice with warmth, empathy, and genuine connection. Whether you’re navigating a difficult phase or simply looking for support, I’m here to help you take the next step towards healing and growth.
About Petals Therapy Centre
At Petals, we believe that everyone deserves a safe space to feel heard, understood, and supported. We provide compassionate, evidence-based psychological care tailored to the unique needs of children, adolescents, adults, and families. With a focus on empathy, respect, and confidentiality, our goal is to make mental health care approachable, accessible, and centred around each individual’s journey. Whether you’re seeking therapy, guidance, or simply a place to begin, we’re here to walk alongside you with care, one step at a time.
Founder's Note
I started Petals with the belief that no one should have to face life’s challenges alone. My vision is to create a place where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported, regardless of their background or circumstances. I hope Petals grows into more than a therapy center. I want it to become a community that promotes mental well-being, encourages meaningful conversations, and makes quality psychological care accessible to those who need it most. Every person deserves the chance to heal, grow, and bloom in their own time.

KIND WORDS
Client Experiences

Thank you for guiding me in the right way and helping me see positivity in everything. I’m truly grateful for the way you taught me how to think more clearly and correctly. Your care and support came exactly when I needed it the most ✨
Also, during the previous session, when I was struggling, you helped me feel so relaxed and guided me properly. That moment meant a lot to me because you helped me calm my unnecessary thoughts.
Thank you so much—I’m truly grateful to you. You supported me when I needed it the most 😇

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during the first session?
The first session is a gentle conversation where we get to know you, understand your concerns, and discuss what support you’re looking for. There is no pressure to share everything at once.
Are online sessions available?
Yes. Sessions can be booked through phone call, video consultation, or in-clinic appointments, depending on what feels most comfortable and convenient for you.
Is everything I share confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is extremely important to us, and all personal information and session discussions are kept confidential in accordance with professional ethical standards.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You don’t need to be in a crisis to seek support. Therapy can help with stress, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, life transitions, parenting concerns, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
What is the difference between therapy and Sprout Buddies?
Therapy sessions are conducted by qualified mental health professionals and focus on clinical support and treatment. Sprout Buddies is a volunteer listening program led by trained psychology graduates who provide emotional support and active listening, but it is not a substitute for professional therapy, assessment, diagnosis, or treatment.
